Details are extremely limited, but sheriff's department spokesperson Curtis Wilson says the woman's body and the car were found near Alpine Road and the Christian Faith Fellowship Church.
Investigators said there is fire damage inside the car. It's unclear if the car caught fire from an accident or if the fire was set on purpose.
The coroner will be conducting an autopsy to determine how the woman died.
Wilson says the person they are interviewing is not considered to be a suspect.
