ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WIS) -
Investigators are looking for the men who held several people, including a 4-year-old, at gunpoint during a home invasion robbery Sunday evening.
According to an Orangeburg County Sheriff's Department incident report, the robbery happened on Gospel Hill Court around 6:20 p.m.
Deputies first responded to the area after a neighbor called law enforcement to report two men running through a yard carrying guns. While investigating, the deputy was then flagged down by one of the victims who said that she and five others had just been robbed.
The victim told deputies that shortly after her brother left the home, two men ran into the residence with handguns and a sawed-off shotgun.
She said the robbers made everyone get on the floor while pointing guns at them. During the robbery, one of the men placed the barrel of a gun to a 4-year-old's face.
A 22-year-old reported being pistol-whipped, but refused medical attention and was uncooperative, according to the report.
One of the victims told investigators that the robbers seemed to know where everything was inside the home.
The men got away with about $1300 in cash, a cell phone, and one of the victim's driver's licenses.
The robbers are described as black males. One was wearing all black with gloves. He was described as standing 6' 2" and weighing165 pounds. The other had on jeans and a black and yellow Pirates hat. He stood about 5' 9" and weighed approximately 200 pounds.
